Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy, design, integration, and architecture of the Embedded Accountancy product ecosystem.
- Integrate with Sage and external financial service APIs to develop secure ledger and bookkeeping synchronization tools.
- Mentor engineering squads and provide strategic direction on code quality, architecture, and knowledge sharing.
- Align executives, product managers, and engineering teams around technical workflows and commercial objectives.
- Establish documentation standards, performance profiling frameworks, and system observability practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience at Senior, Lead, or Staff Engineer level in a modern cloud-native technology environment.
- Strong experience building microservices, distributed system integration patterns, and data schema architectures.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, cross-functional alignment, and mentorship of junior-to-mid-level engineers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
