Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React.js and Python and/or Node.js.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs integrated with AWS infrastructure.
- Develop reusable, responsive React.js components and follow frontend architecture best practices.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Implement WebSocket-based real-time functionality where required.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing strategies, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize frontend and backend application performance.
- Stay current with modern web development, Python, Node.js, React.js, and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development; the overview states 10+ years of experience.
- Strong backend development expertise using Python and/or Node.js.
- Hands-on React.js experience building responsive and scalable user interfaces.
- Understanding of frontend component-based architecture, state management, and responsive design.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
- Practical experience with AWS services including Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL.
- Understanding of microservices, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication.
- Familiarity with automated testing and version control systems.
- Preferred qualifications include Docker, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Jira, Confluence, and basic experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
