Base Salary
$53k - $108k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software and firmware for aircraft survivability and countermeasure systems.
- Configure hardware and perform software, hardware, and system testing to confirm performance.
- Program test equipment and develop hardware emulation systems, test plans, scripts, and supporting software.
- Analyze and resolve bugs and defects using modern software development practices.
- Develop technical manuals and codebase documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify development approaches that meet mission and program needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience performing research, engineering, or technical support for U.S. military systems such as aircraft, avionics, or countermeasure dispensing systems.
- Experience with software or firmware programming languages such as C, C++, 8051 Assembly, Python, or Ada.
- Knowledge of hardware emulation systems, test equipment, and test development.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include ALE-47 software, hardware, or test development experience, Foreign Military Sales ALE-47 operator support experience, and an existing Secret clearance.
