Base Salary
$180k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production security features for North’s AI agents, including OIDC/OAuth flows and session management.
- Write secure Python code for OIDC tokens, user claims, sensitive data, JWT validation, and encryption.
- Implement authentication, token management, authorization checks, and other data-protection mechanisms.
- Integrate tools that enhance North’s security capabilities.
- Design and implement secret management, encryption, and RBAC within Kubernetes clusters.
- Communicate security best practices clearly to stakeholders and non-security engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building user-facing security features in production systems.
- Strong, frequent production experience with Python.
- Deep understanding of OIDC/OAuth 2.0, JWT validation, and token lifecycle management.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience in development and production environments.
- Experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, or hybrid/multi-cloud deployments.
- Comfort working across the software stack.
- Clear communication of security concepts to non-security engineers and stakeholders.
- Experience with AI/ML systems or LLM-based applications is preferred.
