Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable data integration solutions connecting disparate data sources.
- Build high-performance, scalable, and reliable software for the core ELT product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the product and address complex technical challenges.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality and performance.
- Research emerging technologies and evaluate their potential product applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software development in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, Go, or C++.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data integration patterns, and cloud-based architectures.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Spark, Kafka, Flink, or equivalent open-source data-processing engines.
- Experience developing concurrent and non-blocking systems, such as distributed file systems, non-blocking I/O, database replication or backups, distributed caches, streaming platforms, or query engines.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional teams.
