Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of solution or infrastructure development services for large or complex AI/ML initiatives.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production-grade AI/ML, generative AI, intelligent automation, LLM, RAG, and agentic solutions.
- Translate business and user requirements into technical designs, APIs, workflows, and supportable implementation patterns.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications and platforms across service boundaries, orchestration layers, data flows, security controls, and external integrations.
- Lead project workstreams through planning, coordination, execution oversight, issue management, and stakeholder communication.
- Drive coding quality, CI/CD practices, automated testing, observability, documentation, reliability, resilience, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams of AI engineers and data scientists through requirements, architecture, build, evaluation, and production handoff.
- Define and govern LLM evaluation, monitoring, rollout, audit, cost, latency, safety, and reliability practices across engagements.
- Advise clients on AI platform and infrastructure strategy, model access, build-versus-buy decisions, integrations, and applicable emerging LLM and agentic techniques.
Requirements
- 7+ years of applied engineering experience, including significant experience in AI/ML engineering roles.
- Advanced hands-on software engineering proficiency in Python.
- Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams through the full AI product lifecycle.
- Experience architecting and delivering production-grade LLM applications, including RAG, agentic orchestration, and structured-output pipelines at enterprise scale.
- Strong knowledge of embedding models, vector search, semantic retrieval, and NLP similarity systems.
- Deep expertise in LLMOps, model lifecycle management, versioning, AI CI/CD, deployment governance, and production improvement loops.
- Expertise in multi-agent orchestration, tool-use patterns, memory design, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Experience defining and governing evaluation frameworks for output quality, safety, and business alignment.
- Strong system-design capability across APIs, asynchronous workflows, data contracts, cloud-native patterns, and secure deployment models.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration for scalable LLM applications in production cloud environments.
- Ability to explain complex AI behavior and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders in regulated environments.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; an MBA or MS is also preferred.
- Prior consulting experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with LLM security risks, bias, fairness, explainability, data security, privacy, GPU-accelerated workloads, model fine-tuning, controlled rollouts, observability, and enterprise AI data pipelines is a plus.
