Responsibilities
- Create web-based applications in JavaScript, C#, and SQL.
- Ensure functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability of system architecture.
- Write scalable, secure software and perform quality assurance through peer reviews.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and share knowledge across teams.
- Analyze performance data to troubleshoot and identify root causes of bugs.
- Participate in development of prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Assist support staff with technical questions and code reviews.
- Research new technologies and recommend improvements to senior leaders.
- Document design requirements and technical specifications.
- Manage multiple timelines and project priorities.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience as a Software Developer with a focus on object-oriented programming.
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Git.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and interest in AI fluency.
- Strong project management skills and ability to develop effective solutions.
- Experience with SQL Server and Postgres database design and optimization.
- Ability to work in a distributed remote environment and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
