Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Cloud Avenue IaaS infrastructure for production workloads.
- Develop scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines and improve reliability.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, cost, security, compliance, and governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production infrastructure issues and maintain architecture and operational documentation.
- Lead and coordinate technical teams during critical incidents and crisis situations.
- Develop crisis management plans, escalation procedures, communication protocols, simulations, and drills.
- Conduct root cause analyses, post-incident reviews, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate cross-functional incident response and recovery strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure roles.
- Extensive experience designing and managing IaaS infrastructure in cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Avenue infrastructure components, including storage, backup, and compute.
- Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Experience with virtualization, networking, storage, and security in cloud IaaS environments.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, crisis-management, and incident-response capabilities.
