Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and productionize Android and server-side code for consumer products.
- Extend data pipelines with new metrics, dimensions, and device generations for dashboard reporting.
- Develop statistical inference models and detect or alert on anomalous fleet-report results.
- Maintain production data integrity through monitoring, alerting, backfills, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with other teams on data integrity and root-cause analysis of performance issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with data warehousing, data processing, experiment analysis, or metric tools.
- At least 2 years of experience with distributed computing.
- Experience with computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Preferred experience designing, running, or analyzing A/B experiments or staged feature rollouts.
- Preferred experience working with hardware, firmware, embedded, or wireless teams to define and instrument metrics.
- Preferred background in cellular communications, telephony, or mobile-device performance, including power or connectivity.
