Responsibilities
- Build web applications for robot monitoring, data exploration, model training and evaluation, and internal tooling.
- Create responsive interfaces and interactive visualizations for robot telemetry, video, experiment results, and system health.
- Own and evolve frontend architecture, shared components, styles, interaction patterns, and design systems.
- Collaborate with researchers, operators, customers, design, product, and infrastructure teams to understand workflows and improve products.
- Improve frontend development through conventions, reusable patterns, developer tooling, performance work, observability, and testing.
Requirements
- Experience shipping and maintaining production web applications using TypeScript, React, and modern frontend tooling.
- Strong frontend architecture fundamentals, including component boundaries, application state, asynchronous data, and resilient user interactions.
- Strong judgment regarding shared component libraries, UI patterns, standardization, and flexibility.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach across engineering, design, and product.
- Preferred experience includes robotics, AI, scientific computing, real-time or streaming interfaces, data-intensive visualizations, frontend modernization, browser performance profiling, frontend observability, and automated testing.
