Own high-impact optimizations across Generalist’s machine learning training and on-robot inference stacks, pushing GPU, model, hardware, and systems performance toward step-function gains. The role spans everything from CUDA kernels and ML architectures to CPU, network, NVLink, and framework-level bottlenecks.

Own the GPU compute and inference infrastructure that powers Generalist’s large-scale robot foundation models. You’ll optimize distributed training, ML data movement and storage, and real-time robot inference fleets.

Own the cloud infrastructure powering Generalist’s robotics data, APIs, services, and monitoring systems. You’ll build and manage high-scale compute and storage systems for processing petabytes of data while maintaining strong infrastructure security.

Build intuitive, production-quality frontend applications that help researchers, operators, and customers work with advanced robotics and foundation models. You’ll shape interfaces for robot monitoring, data exploration, model evaluation, and complex technical workflows.

Join Generalist as a Forward Deployed Engineer turning embodied AI and robotics technology into reliable customer deployments. You will own integrations, robot behavior debugging, customer delivery, and reusable deployment practices.

Build and deploy robotic AI systems for customers, owning the journey from workflow discovery and integration design through field debugging and reliable operation. As an early Forward Deployed Engineer, you will also shape the tools, diagnostics, and practices that scale future deployments.
