Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery of customer deployments from requirements discovery and success criteria through integration, rollout, onboarding, field debugging, and ongoing improvement.
- Design and build reliable, maintainable software integrations connecting Generalist systems with customer APIs, applications, and workflows.
- Design robot tasks and evaluation workflows, analyze rollout data, and refine tasks when real-world performance falls short.
- Debug software, integrations, robot behavior, and operating environments using logs, observations, experiments, fixes, and verification.
- Work directly with customers to understand constraints, explain tradeoffs, communicate progress, and retain ownership of outcomes.
- Convert deployment experience into reusable tooling, documentation, diagnostics, playbooks, and system improvements.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping production software and independently taking ambiguous technical problems to tested, working solutions.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing integrations across APIs, services, or complex systems.
- Methodical debugging skills, including gathering evidence, testing hypotheses, and verifying underlying fixes.
- Ability and willingness to work directly with customers, translate needs into engineering work, and explain complex technical issues clearly.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technical domains quickly, with curiosity about machine learning, robotics, and reliable real-world operation.
- Ownership mindset suited to an early-stage environment, including creating structure and balancing immediate customer needs with scalable improvements.
- Willingness to work hands-on with robots and customer teams, including time at customer sites.
- Experience in robotics, machine learning, or deploying complex software in customer environments is a plus.
