Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Python backend services and JavaScript/TypeScript frontend applications using React.
- Own full-stack features from design and implementation through testing and delivery.
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces integrated with RESTful APIs.
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and lead technical design discussions.
- Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based development environments, and branching and merge request workflows.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, QA, OS/DevOps teams, and international engineering groups.
- Contribute to estimation, sprint planning, process improvement, and adoption of relevant web standards and platform features.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- English proficiency.
- Strong Python and JavaScript or TypeScript skills, with experience in React or another modern frontend framework.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, Python web frameworks, Git, code review workflows, and frontend/backend testing.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, test automation, observability, and web application security practices is preferred.
- Experience mentoring peers, leading technical design discussions, and working on avionics systems or complex electronics products is preferred.
