Responsibilities
- Build and evolve core claiming flows across frontend and backend through production.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, engineering, and QA teams to identify friction and deliver measurable improvements.
- Design and run experiments that improve claim submission rates and reduce traveller confusion.
- Integrate claiming flows with document, communications, claim-processing, partner API, and internal tooling systems.
- Modernize legacy code and improve reliability, observability, testing, and production quality.
- Use AI-assisted workflows when they improve development speed or work quality.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and owning client-facing production applications where reliability, performance, and conversion matter.
- Strong expertise in at least one core technology area: TypeScript/React, Ruby/Rails, or Node.js, with willingness to work across the stack.
- Product-minded approach focused on solving the right problem, not only shipping code.
- Comfort across framing, building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and iterating with disciplined testing practices.
- Solid relational database experience, ideally with PostgreSQL.
- Ownership mindset and ability to proactively identify important problems.
- Clear written and spoken English communication.
