Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain cloud applications.
- Write secure, readable, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code according to team standards.
- Apply software design principles, patterns, and event-driven architecture while considering system interactions and broader codebase impacts.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other partners on goals, requirements, timelines, and product improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and improve code quality and development practices based on feedback.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions using standard debugging techniques.
- Use the AWS ecosystem to build scalable, reliable, and resilient solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant industry experience, including internships or co-op experience, building and delivering commercial applications.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as C++, Go, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Git, standard development workflows, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and practices.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, Progressive Web Application experience, HTML and CSS, React, Grommet, i18next, relational and non-relational databases, B2B SaaS and multi-tenant platforms, Figma, Storybook, Pendo, Mixpanel, and digital twin or AECO-domain experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
