Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain production-grade machine learning pipelines and data engineering workflows.
Build tooling, visualisation, frameworks, and software that support quantitative strategy research and development.
Collaborate with quantitative research teams to productionise prototype trading models.
Shape high-level strategy software architecture for scalability and low trading latency.
Write clean, maintainable Python code and promote engineering best practices.
Deploy and support scalable machine learning systems, including model serving, monitoring, and real-time inference where applicable.

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical subject such as Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science from a top university.
Significant software engineering experience, particularly with the modern Python machine learning stack.
Strong experience designing and maintaining machine learning pipelines and data engineering workflows.
Familiarity with containerisation using tools such as Docker or Kubernetes and with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Comfort working in a Linux environment.
Preferred qualifications include advanced Python data engineering, Dagster or Prefect, Pandas or Polars optimisation, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow, production model deployment and monitoring, real-time inference, scientific computing, high-performance computing, and C/C++ experience.
