Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and bug-fix existing data processing, persistence, and transport services.
- Optimize implementations for performance, scalability, and robustness.
- Refactor the codebase and extract cross-project dependencies into reusable libraries.
- Develop web frontends and integrate external services and third-party libraries.
- Build and maintain concurrent, event-driven, and publish/subscribe-based services for internal processes.
- Increase unit and integration test coverage, including mocking.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain software services.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in object-oriented programming.
- At least 4 years of professional Python development experience.
- Advanced Python development skills and the ability to write efficient, understandable code.
- Good understanding of concurrent processing and scalable applications.
- Knowledge of data exchange concepts such as REST and MQTT.
- Experience writing PyUnit and integration tests, including mocking.
- Confident use of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MariaDB and Redis.
- Experience with Debian Linux command-line usage, Docker, and Git.
- Good communication skills, strong self-learning ability, teamwork, and good spoken and written English.
