Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain features for BOM generation and software composition analysis scanning engines.
- Use agentic AI coding tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor to accelerate development, testing, and code review while verifying their output.
- Build and improve data pipelines that process package registry, vulnerability, and license data at scale.
- Investigate detection accuracy issues and continuously improve scan quality.
- Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of professional experience.
- Strong foundations in data structures and algorithms plus experience with at least one systems or backend language, such as Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or Rust.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT on actual projects.
- Fundamental knowledge of machine learning and data processing, including classification, embeddings, evaluation metrics, and structured or unstructured data analysis.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to read and communicate in English in written and verbal settings.
- Rust experience, exposure to LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI-assisted features, Docker, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, or open-source contributions is preferred.
