Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, scripts, and integrations.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow instances, including roles, access controls, data sources, and system properties.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and databases, web services, and third-party applications.
- Write and maintain JavaScript, Glide Record, and ACL scripts for automation and enhanced functionality.
- Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate and execute ServiceNow solution deployments.
- Document applications, configurations, and processes for knowledge transfer and maintenance.
- Investigate and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks while supporting end users.
- Stay current with ServiceNow best practices and features and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- More than 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development, scripting, workflow design, and application development.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, web services, and data sources.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and maintain attention to detail.
- May require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer are preferred.
