Base Salary
$135k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and lead security architecture across cloud, datacenter, SaaS, and managed services platforms.
- Establish enterprise security standards, patterns, best practices, and standard configurations.
- Lead the strategic selection and standardization of identity, secrets management, network security, and other security tooling.
- Drive adoption of Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, Palo Alto, zero trust principles, and modern security frameworks.
- Lead complex cross-functional security initiatives spanning product, infrastructure, operations, compliance, and risk teams.
- Serve as the escalation point for critical security issues and incidents, including resolution and root cause analysis.
- Mentor engineering teams and influence technical direction across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering and/or security architecture roles.
- Deep expertise across multiple security domains, including IAM, network security, cloud security, and data protection.
- Strong experience designing security architectures in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Okta, including enterprise standardization.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault and Terraform for secrets management and infrastructure security, including enterprise patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, cloud-native security controls, and standard security configurations.
- Proven leadership of large-scale enterprise security initiatives, toolchain rationalization, and standardization.
- Experience supporting regulated environments such as healthcare or financial services is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills, including engagement with executive-level audiences.
