Responsibilities
- Own functional, performance, and scalability work for data-plane services with rich data-management capabilities.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and support features throughout the software lifecycle.
- Build and operate cloud-native services using containers, microservices, distributed-systems principles, and CI/CD practices.
- Drive automated testing, code reviews, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate on end-to-end solutions involving storage, networking, cloud infrastructure, security, observability, and customer-facing experiences.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement reliability, scalability, and operational improvements.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews and communicate technical decisions and project status to stakeholders.
- Contribute to team growth through knowledge sharing, code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Experience with Python for test automation, validation frameworks, tooling, CI/CD integration, or operational automation.
- Familiarity with C/C++, React, TypeScript, or C# is desirable.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs or service-to-service integrations.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating microservices-based applications using Kubernetes, containers, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Experience with automated testing, performance optimization, security practices, observability, monitoring, telemetry, and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of building and operating cloud-native distributed systems in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong aptitude for learning technologies and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative and analytical problem-solving approach.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years of related experience, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 0+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
