Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for Databricks workspaces.
- Perform low-level systems debugging and optimization on large production clusters.
- Build architecture designs and influence product roadmaps.
- Introduce automation tools for improved service operability.
- Prevent and investigate production issues using deep experience.
- Plan and lead complex technical projects across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead sprint planning.
Requirements
- 15+ years of industry experience in building large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to work towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.
- Motivated by delivering customer value and impact.
- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
- Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
