Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize high-throughput distributed services and systems supporting millions of queries per second.
- Improve resource efficiency, system latency, and reliability at Google scale.
- Support client teams with system integrations, including plugins, data enrichment, and denormalization pipelines.
- Write clean and robust modern C++ code for data ingestion and storage backend enhancements.
- Coordinate with internal organizations and cross-product partners to deliver pragmatic infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- At least 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- At least 1 year of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
- Preferred qualifications include fluency in C++, experience or strong interest in backend infrastructure and distributed systems, strong software engineering fundamentals, and database and scalable data store knowledge.
