Responsibilities
- Develop production-grade Node.js services on AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Design secure APIs and integrations across internal and third-party systems.
- Establish technical patterns and reusable services for the contact center roadmap.
- Implement observability pipelines using tools like OpenSearch and CloudWatch.
- Create automation and AI-enabled workflows for improved operational efficiency.
- Build migration tools to transition legacy telephony workflows to modern platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, preferably with Node.js or TypeScript.
- Strong skills in API design, system architecture, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda or similar serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and production observability tools.
- Experience using AI coding assistants for development and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in GitHub workflows, including code review and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to transform ambiguous problems into maintainable technical solutions.
