Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and support AI-enabled workflow and automation solutions across collaboration platforms, enterprise systems, and cloud-native environments.
- Develop secure backend services, scripts, integrations, and orchestration logic using Python and JavaScript-based frameworks such as Node.js and TypeScript.
- Integrate workflows with IT service management, HR, CRM, document and content platforms, reporting systems, SaaS platforms, and internal APIs.
- Analyze and redesign manual, fragmented, spreadsheet-heavy, macro-driven, or legacy processes into scalable and reusable automation solutions.
- Implement prompt logic, tool orchestration, exception handling, validation, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, logging, telemetry, and evaluation mechanisms for AI-assisted workflows.
- Evaluate business requests and recommend configuration, low-code/no-code, platform, or custom engineering solutions.
- Build reusable services, templates, reference implementations, and accelerators aligned with enterprise standards and security requirements.
- Document workflow designs, dependencies, integrations, technical logic, and operational runbooks.
- Partner with product managers, TPMs, security, privacy, identity, ILM, transformation leads, and business stakeholders.
- Support pilot deployments, cutovers, validation, hypercare, production troubleshooting, and resiliency improvements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in workflow engineering, automation engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise application automation in complex corporate environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience analyzing, redesigning, and automating complex business processes across multiple connected systems and stakeholder groups.
- Experience modernizing legacy or manual workflows into API-driven, event-based, or automation-enabled solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or JavaScript-based tooling for backend automations, workflow logic, integrations, and supportable technical solutions.
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, connectors, event-based logic, orchestration patterns, SaaS platforms, and internal enterprise applications.
- Practical experience integrating AI capabilities into business workflows, automation pipelines, or enterprise tools.
- Familiarity with prompt design, workflow orchestration, exception handling, validation logic, and production monitoring or evaluation for AI-enabled workflows.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, access control, secure integration practices, enterprise workflow architecture, version control, structured testing, and release management.
- Strong systems-thinking, technical documentation, debugging, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with Google Workspace administration, Google Workspace APIs, Google Apps Script, AppSheet, legacy macro or SharePoint modernization, Gemini, Glean, AskGM, Databricks, cloud-native workflow components, pilot deployments, cutovers, hypercare, reusable automation components, or Google Cloud and Google Workspace certifications.
