Base Salary
$200k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build central security systems and automation used across the company.
- Secure cloud infrastructure, identity, and access across Rain's environment.
- Assess new products, partners, and vendors before launch and guide implementation teams.
- Build AI agents and tools to improve the speed and accuracy of security work.
- Lead external security assessments and drive findings through verified fixes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support incident response.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of security engineering experience, including building production security tools and controls.
- Have strong coding skills in TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Python.
- Have experience securing cloud infrastructure, identity, and access.
- Be able to identify vulnerabilities, demonstrate their impact, and drive remediation with code-owning teams.
- Have experience at a fintech, payments, or crypto company.
- Preferred experience includes blockchain security, smart contract review, onchain monitoring, custody and multisig controls, AI security for LLM applications and agents, external audits, or bug bounty programs.
