Responsibilities
- Contribute to system test plans to ensure effective test coverage and automation.
- Create and deploy automated system tests that replicate real-world scenarios.
- Improve testing methodologies and procedures to increase test automation efficiency.
- Review product and system design requirements for test-plan and test-case accuracy.
- Guide less experienced engineers in implementing effective, high-quality solutions.
- Evaluate new trends and technologies related to testing infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience programming test automation with Python, Perl, and/or shell script.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix-like operating systems.
- Knowledge of internet protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and/or TLS/SSL.
- Experience with Git/Stash and Perforce version control systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and solve problems as part of a team.
