Responsibilities
- Develop test plans against project plans.
- Design component functional and integration test cases against design specifications.
- Execute test cases and generate test reports.
- Perform issue resolution and regression testing to identify root causes of failures.
- Review requirements and architecture to proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, and ambiguities.
- Coordinate with software development teams on testing outcomes and failures.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Automotive software testing experience in HIL, component, and vehicle environments.
- Familiarity with verification test tools such as Vector CANoe/CANalyzer and dSPACE.
- Experience testing automotive body and HVAC domains.
- Good understanding of vehicle electrical/electronic architecture.
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications and Simulink models.
- Experience with test documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of Euro7 emission legislation and its software/control implications.
- Experience working directly with an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
- Automotive sector experience, including understanding of V-cycle software development methodology.
- Experience with requirements and test management tools such as DOORS and Polarion.
- Strong communication, collaboration, self-motivation, attention to detail, and continuous-improvement orientation.
