Base Salary
$175k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Go services, APIs, data models, and frontend contracts behind the E2B Dashboard and SDK
- Design authentication, authorization, billing, and usage-metering surfaces
- Build real-time backends that deliver sandbox logs and metrics to the dashboard
- Optimize data access and server-side performance, including query design, caching, and response times
- Partner with dashboard engineers to ship features end-to-end and with Core and Platform teams at product-infrastructure boundaries
- Make architectural decisions around observability, testing, and security best practices
- Take projects from 0 to 1 and make backend and product decisions with substantial autonomy
Requirements
- 3–5+ years shipping production backend services with deep expertise in Go
- Strong API design skills, including REST/RPC, contracts, and versioning
- Solid PostgreSQL experience with schema design, query optimization, migrations, and data at scale
- Experience with authentication, authorization, server-side performance, and real-time data flows using WebSockets and SSE
- Working TypeScript competence; Next.js experience is a plus
- Understanding of frontend data-fetching patterns
- Willingness to work in person from Prague
- Ability to own projects from conception through launch and iteration
- Comfort talking to customers and explaining technical tradeoffs
- Strong communication, curiosity, and interest in the AI space
