Responsibilities
- Write backend infrastructure and frontend web applications for simulation and optimization software.
- Contribute across concept development, data visualization and analysis, algorithm design, exploratory prototyping, implementation, demonstration, and deployment.
- Design and maintain well-structured, extensible software.
- Communicate design concepts and performance metrics clearly.
- Develop algorithmic code involving complexity analysis, performance optimization, and multithreading when applicable.
- Design and implement user interfaces when applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Math, or a related field.
- Programming experience with Java, TypeScript, Python, or C++.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with full-stack web application development in any frameworks or languages.
- Ability to clearly communicate design concepts and performance metrics.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to satisfy security-investigation requirements for access to classified information.
- Preferred experience with MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Spring Boot, React, Redux, WebGL, or OpenGL.
- Preferred background in probability and statistics, linear algebra, and multivariate calculus.
