Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute manual and automated tests for frontend and backend components.
- Create, enhance, debug, and execute automated tests and build automation frameworks from scratch.
- Develop acceptance, regression, functional, and API test cases within Agile Scrum processes.
- Track automation activities, report project release status to stakeholders, and estimate testing work.
- Coordinate with developers, QA analysts, architects, design teams, and client stakeholders to clarify requirements and verification protocols.
- Collate and monitor defect management activities.
- Work night shifts as part of a full-time position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 4 years of experience in manual and automated testing.
- Strong experience with Playwright and test automation frameworks including Rest Assured, Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Strong coding skills using programming languages such as Java and good experience with databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of API, regression, and functional testing, as well as SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Waterfall processes.
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git.
- Strong analytical, design, coding, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, interact with client stakeholders, and keep current with testing trends.
- Good project management skills, particularly for mid-level and above experience.
