Responsibilities
- Help establish the New York office’s engineering culture and standards.
- Build the agent harness for live customer conversations and real-world actions under tight latency and reliability constraints.
- Develop evaluation, observability, and tooling to measure and improve agent behavior in production.
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows, gather feedback, and turn pain points into product features.
- Own end-to-end delivery from specification through production for systems that keep agents running continuously.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience delivering user-facing software at scale through multiple release cycles.
- Strong full-stack fluency with React, TypeScript, and Python, plus experience with databases and cloud infrastructure.
- Founder-level ownership, autonomy, clean coding, and comfort with ambiguous problems.
- Ability to translate stakeholder goals into clear technical specifications and customer-focused products.
- Strong communication skills for explaining architectural trade-offs to engineers and business outcomes to executives.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, or RAG patterns is preferred, or willingness to learn quickly.
