Base Salary

$108k - $149k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and optimization of complex software components.
  • Debug and troubleshoot advanced software issues.
  • Write and maintain detailed code documentation.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote code quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Support software integration with hardware systems and protocol development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve software performance and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java.
  • Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Preferred experience with Linux/RHEL and Windows services.
  • Preferred knowledge of tactical or moving-map software integration, hardware integration, and protocol development.
  • Preferred aerospace and defense industry background.
  • Preferred knowledge of C#, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, WPF, and .NET.
  • Preferred experience with requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repositories, and automated build tools.
  • Preferred knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral methodologies and experience with data structures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
