Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own an advanced observability platform.
- Integrate systems through APIs using Datadog, AWS services, GitHub Actions, OpenTelemetry, and related tools.
- Use AI and LLM capabilities to automate root-cause analysis and surface platform improvement opportunities.
- Administer and optimize the observability platform for performance, reliability, cost, and governance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and iterate on production solutions to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
- Own technical direction and execution while partnering with stakeholders across the Engineering organization.
- Lead cross-team communications and operate independently in a production environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working on SaaS projects.
- Experience with observability systems and concepts.
- Experience with Datadog is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools for managing cloud or observability resources.
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS fundamentals.
- Knowledge of security requirements and best practices in SaaS environments.
- Understanding of SRE challenges.
- Ability to leverage AI tools in day-to-day work.
- Ability to lead cross-team communications.
- Self-motivated, organized, positive, and solution-oriented approach.
- Professional-level spoken and written English.
