Responsibilities
- Develop solution designs and recommendations that balance business needs with technical complexity.
- Maintain, refactor, enhance, and optimize customized Salesforce applications, configurations, and code.
- Design and architect custom Salesforce applications, objects, and data models.
- Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems using REST APIs and web services.
- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Plan and execute Salesforce releases and upgrades while maintaining staging and production orgs.
- Contribute to adjacent technical areas such as marketing tools, data contracts, and Ruby on Rails backend development.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive work from end to end.
Requirements
- Ideally 3+ years of relevant engineering experience or experience in a similar role.
- Expertise with Apex, Visualforce, Aura, and Lightning Web Components.
- Knowledge of Ruby on Rails or an appetite for backend development beyond the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, provide and receive feedback, take initiative, and propose improvements.
