Responsibilities
- Build, modify, and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
- Build and maintain ETL jobs to store and organize customer data in the Yext Knowledge Graph.
- Advise engineering and business stakeholders on best practices, compatibility issues, and technical tradeoffs.
- Improve development tooling to enhance software quality, iteration speed, and maintainability.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, design, and project management.
- Write clean, tested, and well-structured code.
Requirements
- BS or higher in Computer Science, a related field, or similar college-level education.
- Comfort with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a variety of frontend technologies.
- Ability to move between frontend and backend technologies.
- Openness to new technologies and creative solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Preferred experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Go, and/or Java.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, including lists, arrays, hash tables, hash maps, stacks, queues, trees, heaps, and graphs.
- Preferred experience with sorting, searching, graph traversal, recursion, iterative algorithms, and open-source contributions.
- Preferred 1-5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
