Responsibilities
- Perform automated and manual software testing.
- Develop test plans and detailed test cases from software requirements and technical specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
- Document defects, track them to resolution, and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
- Create, update, assess, and document test data using multiple file formats, programming languages, scripting languages, and databases.
- Use test automation tools and frameworks to validate web-based and headless applications.
- Debug automated test scripts and analyze application logs and error messages.
- Work with software development teams in an Agile process and integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows.
- Communicate with team leads and senior leadership and adjust to changing requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 6 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of software testing and automated testing approaches.
- Knowledge of testing in a cloud architecture is desired.
- Willingness and ability to stay current with software testing, test data creation, tools, and best practices.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
