Responsibilities
- Build software components and business features according to established delivery schedules.
- Investigate technologies, third-party software, and development tools to solve technical challenges.
- Analyze legacy systems and products, propose fixes, and assist with testing and documentation.
- Develop testable and maintainable software using industry-standard languages and tools.
- Work with quality assurance to define test cases and create, review, and execute test plans.
- Review product documentation and technical instructions for completeness and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
- 7–9 years of total experience, including at least six years of direct hands-on software development experience.
- Proficiency in object-oriented and interface-driven design and implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Web API, and related development tools.
- Understanding of Angular, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, HTMLX, XML, JSON, database-driven architecture, and service-oriented architecture.
- Understanding of unit testing, large-scale multithreaded and asynchronous systems, web communication protocols, and web application security models.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server as a programming platform and experience with source control and change-management tools such as Git, TFVC, and GitHub.
- Comfort with Azure DevOps and Jira, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with Azure services, Azure Cosmos DB, Snowflake, Power BI, OAuth, ADFS, Scrum/Agile, and GitHub Copilot.
