Responsibilities
- Define observability reference architecture and engineering standards.
- Lead telemetry, platform, integration, and automation strategy.
- Guide modernization, rationalization, and technology adoption decisions.
- Review complex designs for resilience, security, cost, and supportability.
- Own vendor-neutral observability architecture and direction for instrumentation and integrations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in observability, platform engineering, SRE, cloud, or systems engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in architecture or technical leadership.
- Experience with metrics, logs, traces, synthetics, real user monitoring, service maps, APIs, and automation.
- Preferred experience with OpenTelemetry, cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, or distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with large-enterprise modernization or migration.
- Cloud, SRE, or architecture certification is preferred.
