Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of embedded software for automotive ECUs and radar products.
- Manage software project scope, goals, timelines, resources, risks, stakeholders, and progress reporting.
- Prepare software development and software configuration management plans.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, validation, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards, regulations, coding standards, and communication protocols.
- Mentor and guide team members while providing technical expertise and support.
Requirements
- More than five years of experience developing embedded software for ECUs.
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ and real-time operating systems.
- Knowledge of software configuration management tools such as PTC and GitHub.
- Knowledge of MISRA-C and CERT-C coding standards.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, LIN, FlexRay, and automotive UDS/ISO 14229.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Business-level Japanese and English proficiency.
- Preferred: automotive industry experience, ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, large-scale software project management, multicultural team experience, OTA concepts, and secure coding awareness.
