Responsibilities
- Contribute to live software development or data engineering projects supporting LSEG and its clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and receive mentoring from experienced technology professionals.
- Complete a 12-month development journey focused on foundational technology and professional skills.
- Participate in group projects aligned with LSEG’s sustainability priorities.
- Explore different LSEG technology divisions and develop within an assigned business division.
- Participate in professional qualification opportunities, volunteering, and wider early-career community initiatives.
Requirements
- Be a final-year undergraduate or master’s student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics and Informatics, or a related discipline, completing course requirements before July 2027, or be a 2026 graduate.
- Have an interest in software development or data engineering and familiarity with Java, Python, or C++.
- Demonstrate technology interest through academic studies, extracurricular activities, internships, work experience, university projects, coding, or personal projects.
- Demonstrate an interest in financial markets and the ability to analyse data, draw conclusions, and propose solutions.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking, focus, resilience, adaptability, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Have unrestricted rights to work in Romania.
