Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and enforce architecture patterns and design principles for scalable, high-performance, reliable, and usable data platforms.
- Build fault-tolerant, self-healing, adaptive, and accurate data computational and analytic processing applications.
- Develop data models and end-to-end streaming and batch data pipelines.
- Optimize and scale the data platform across multiple teams.
- Support data engineers in improving ETL processes through monitoring and tracking systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, product managers, and software engineers.
- Manage continuous deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the data streaming platform in production and testing environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python and/or Java.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience with distributed computing technologies such as Kafka, Flink, Spark, Hive, HDFS, Presto, and Druid/Imply.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, monitoring, system logging, and an SRE mindset.
- Proficiency in English and Thai.
- Based in or close to Thailand, or willing to relocate.
