Base Salary
$137k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate edge components that interact with AWS cloud services.
- Drive the design and implementation of robust interfaces for high-latency environments.
- Collaborate with the Principal Cloud Tech Lead on secure device-to-cloud communication.
- Mentor and coach engineers on the edge team to uphold code quality and best practices.
- Identify technical risks early to ensure a durable and secure edge-to-cloud bridge.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in high-performance languages like Rust or C++, with experience in middleware or services on hardware devices.
- Deep experience with AWS IoT Core, AWS SDKs, and RESTful APIs.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, driving a small team to meet delivery commitments.
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy on edge devices.
- Understanding of the software stack from on-device telemetry to cloud-side ingestion.
