Base Salary

$123k - $213k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications and Kubernetes orchestration platforms.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and optimize scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Monitor, log, alert, and optimize the performance of cloud and containerized environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application development, and other cross-functional teams to implement secure and scalable solutions.
  • Write scripts and automation tools for cloud operations and application tooling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems management, accounting, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, or experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles, including at least 3 years with Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, container orchestration, enterprise integration design patterns, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and Azure Storage.
  • Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience using Bicep or ARM templates.
  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines; GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and GitOps experience are valued.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash are preferred.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and containerized environments.
  • Experience in at least four listed areas, including Azure application deployment, infrastructure design, scripting, Docker and Kubernetes, DevSecOps, GitOps, or cloud cost and performance optimization.

Benefits

  • Base salary for California, excluding Sacramento, is $122,900 to $213,400 per year.

  • The role follows EY’s hybrid model, with most external client-serving employees expected to work in person 40–60% of the time over an engagement, project, or year.
