Base Salary
$215k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain, configure, architect, and implement solutions using AWS products and services.
- Operate and support AWS cloud environments, including large-scale clusters, servers, containers, networking, fault tolerance, backups, and load balancing.
- Support deployment, maintenance, scaling, and operation of Databricks, AWS SageMaker, and Aliyun DSW platforms for data processing and machine learning workflows.
- Own the Databricks platform on AWS, including workspace provisioning, account and workspace configuration, cluster policies, instance pools, and SQL warehouses managed with Terraform.
- Monitor and optimize Databricks cost, performance, autoscaling, Photon and serverless adoption, DBU usage, and job reliability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and configuration using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production database issues, monitor company services, respond to alerts, and maintain service stability and uptime.
- Collaborate with development teams on feature integration and deployment.
- Design, build, and maintain internal platforms and tooling for operational efficiency and unified multi-cloud management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, with over six years of experience in DevOps, SRE, DBA, or related positions.
- Strong experience with AWS distributed management, large-scale clustering, fault tolerance, backup, load balancing, high-availability architecture, and capacity planning.
- Strong Linux operations, maintenance, debugging, configuration tuning, and performance analysis capabilities.
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS EC2, AWS EKS, AWS VPC, big data products, microservices deployment and scaling, and monitoring large-scale servers and containers.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and NoSQL or big-data systems such as Redis, MongoDB, and HBase is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, AWS SageMaker, or Aliyun DSW, including data pipelines, notebook environments, and model training or deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with Nginx, Kong, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, and internal developer platforms.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or shell scripting and at least one infrastructure area such as public cloud networking, SRE, DevOps, or cloud-native engineering.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Codex is valued.
- Strong business analysis, systems architecture, problem-solving, and self-direction skills; English and Mandarin bilingual ability and experience with Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Cloud are nice to have.
