Responsibilities
- Integrate and adapt DSP software modules into customer automotive radar programs.
- Configure software components to satisfy system, timing, and performance requirements.
- Perform end-to-end integration on embedded ECU targets across DSP, middleware, and system layers.
- Debug complex multi-layer issues and drive root-cause analysis through defect closure.
- Support ECU bring-up, validation, and performance tuning on hardware targets.
- Integrate reusable DSP software building blocks into customer-specific projects.
- Collaborate with platform, algorithm, and application engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in any specialization, such as B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech.
- 5–7 years of experience with strong embedded C/C++ development on ECUs.
- Strong embedded-systems fundamentals, including memory, interrupts, and real-time behavior.
- Working knowledge of radar DSP concepts, including signal chains, FFT, filtering, and detection.
- Hands-on experience with hardware targets and AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR integration.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and structured root-cause-analysis skills.
- Familiarity with Lauterbach and the CANoe/Vector suite.
- Understanding of CAN, Ethernet, vehicle communication networks, ECU architecture, bootloader and flashing mechanisms, and UDS vehicle diagnostics.
- Awareness of ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
- Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, handle ambiguity, drive closure, and take ownership of quality.
