Base Salary
$100k - $119k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build enterprise APIs and core Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
- Design event-driven microservices architectures and real-time streaming ingestion pipelines using Kafka.
- Deploy and manage applications in AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Build complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions for high-throughput data access and sub-second query response times.
- Develop and use unit testing and test automation strategies.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
- Build and deploy applications through continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
- Use source control and pull requests with repository tools such as GitHub.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full stack software development experience.
- Experience building enterprise APIs and using core Java with Spring or Spring Boot.
- Experience with JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP web services.
- Experience with Kafka and real-time streaming ingestion pipelines.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment or application management.
- Experience building complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions using databases such as Oracle or CockroachDB.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries or strategies.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
- Experience with Jenkins, source control, and collaborative pull-request workflows.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
