Responsibilities
- Research, design, implement, train, deploy, and monitor machine learning algorithms for batch and real-time prediction.
- Develop orchestrated analytical and machine learning training pipelines using large-scale data.
- Automate experiments, training runs, validation runs, and monitoring across the model lifecycle.
- Collaborate with MLOps to improve machine learning tooling.
- Work with product managers and business stakeholders to define machine learning problems and requirements.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for ML-driven solutions.
- Define performance metrics, design experiments such as A/B tests, and perform statistical analysis to evaluate models and business impact.
- Lead projects from ideation through deployment and communicate complex results to varied audiences.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a machine learning scientist, machine learning engineer, or data scientist.
- Experience owning the full machine learning model lifecycle in production.
- Experience using big data frameworks to build pipelines that provide data for models.
- Understanding of software engineering practices, data engineering, and MLOps principles.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, statistical inference, predictive machine learning, and causal inference; deep learning experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Spark, Trino SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost or LightGBM, Pandas, MLflow or similar MLOps frameworks, and Airflow.
- Extensive experience designing and running experiments.
- Ability to lead projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and communicate complex technical outcomes clearly.
- Interest in current machine learning research and developments.
