Responsibilities
- Research, design, implement, train, deploy, and monitor machine learning algorithms for batch and real-time prediction.
- Build orchestrated analytical and machine learning training pipelines using large-scale data processing.
- Automate experiments, training runs, validation runs, and monitoring, while collaborating with MLOps to improve machine learning tooling.
- Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to frame business needs as solvable machine learning problems.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for ML-driven solutions.
- Define performance metrics, design experiments such as A/B tests, and conduct statistical analysis to validate models and quantify business impact.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and influence long-term ML strategy, architecture, and production systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a machine learning or data scientist.
- Experience with the full machine learning model lifecycle in production flows.
- Experience using big data frameworks to build pipelines that feed machine learning models.
- Understanding of software engineering practices, data engineering, and MLOps principles.
- Strong grounding in statistical inference, predictive machine learning, and causal inference; deep learning experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with PySpark, Trino SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost or LightGBM, Pandas, MLflow or similar MLOps frameworks, and Airflow.
- Extensive experience designing and running experiments, with an experimental and iterative mindset.
- Ability to lead projects from ideation through deployment, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and communicate complex outcomes clearly.
- Commitment to staying current with machine learning research and developments.
