Base Salary
$325k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve graphics runtimes and libraries for app/UI developers.
- Design, implement, and optimize real-time rendering pipelines using Vulkan or OpenGL ES.
- Own the display and composition path, including swapchains and frame pacing.
- Establish performance and quality benchmarks through profiling and optimization.
- Collaborate with camera, vision, and UX teams for compositing and effects.
- Drive reliability through robust startup/shutdown and automated graphics tests.
Requirements
- Deep experience shipping graphics or high-performance systems on Linux, Android, or iOS.
- Experience building or contributing to UI/rendering frameworks.
- Familiarity with Vulkan, Metal, or OpenGL ES.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and modern shading languages.
- Understanding of display pipelines and windowing/compositors.
- Proven track record of shipping real-time rendering features under constraints.
- Fluency with profiling and debugging tools.
