Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and automate feature test plans to validate product capabilities.
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for continuous functional regression.
- Develop scaling and performance tests for platform and customer-growth validation.
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to understand testing requirements.
- Identify, report, troubleshoot, and resolve defects found during testing.
- Analyze customer-found defects, identify test gaps, and add coverage to regression suites.
- Contribute to product documentation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in highly technical QA and automation roles.
- Very strong Python programming skills.
- Experience testing networking products and understanding management, control, and data plane architectures.
- Hands-on knowledge of ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, BGP, VxLAN, IPSec, and L3 networking.
- Experience with cloud-based deployments, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with QEMU/KVM, VMware ESXi, Docker, SDN, overlay protocols, DPDK, and VNF.
- Experience with firewalls or SD-WAN devices is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, debugging, and learning abilities.
